Radiant Heat
In floor heating has become increasingly popular over my years in the trade. People are finding that a well-engineered system can provide more consistent heat at a better economic value compared to a forced air system.
With the rising costs of propane and natural gas, many new properties are opting to use hydronics as a primary source of heat while keeping a furnace to work in tandem. These systems are also commonly utilized in workshops, garages and for snow and ice melt applications.
While Cooper Plumbing does not typically design the systems, we often work with Uponor Canada to have one designed for the customer’s specific needs based on their site specifications. I have been using Uponor products for years and I find it hard to beat their durability and performance.
