Well water systems are one of our specialties at Cooper Plumbing. They often get overlooked because some people may not understand their importance. A quality water softener will greatly reduce calcium and scale build up, which increases the longevity of your appliances, plumbing fixtures and distribution piping.
An ultraviolet system eliminates the risk associated with bacteria that can be found in well water. While the sediment filters help keep the lines clear, extending the life of your fixtures by reducing build up and blockages caused by sediment.
A misconception in the industry is that you should not drink well water. When in fact, more often than not, well water is healthier for your body than municipally treated water and bottled water. The first step is always to test your water, which you should do at least once a year. You can’t properly treat it if you don’t know what is in it.
